The most common error seen in the Beeson line is that concerning Edward Beeson's wife, Rachel, who is too often shown as Rachel Pennington, daughter of Isaac Pennington. Unfortunately for researchers who would like to claim this, there is no record showing a daughter Rachel for Isaac Pennington and his wife Mary (Proude) Springett. There is also a tendency to claim that Sir Isaac had a second wife after Mary Proude who was the mother of Rachel, but his will of 1679 names Mary as his wife, so we can rule out that one as well.
