It seems like I’m always working on a project of some sort when it comes to genealogy. so this summer is no different in that respect. Two weeks ago, I spent a few hours at Birmingham-Lafayette cemetery photographing headstones, until the mugginess of the day finally forced me to retreat. Altogether I took mroe than 800 photos and so far, have added over 600 of them to the listings for Birmingham-Lafayette on my main genelaogy database site, . The direct link for Birmingham is .
These listings are by no means complete as Birmingham-Lafayette is a large cemetery, so I have been focusing first on the older stones as those are the ones that will probably be of most interest to Chester County researchers. hent he weather cools down a bit, I’ll go back and work on getting the rest of the grounds photographed.
