Most of the time, we’re hapy to find our ancestors listed in old documents, providing us with clues to their lives, but thare is at least one set of documents where we probably would prefer not to find them – on the Quarter Session Indictment listings held by the Chester County Archives. These listings are available online through the Archives and can provide some very interesting facts about our long-gone relatives. There are two separate types of Indictment listing in the Archives, one for defendants and witnesses and the other for victims.
